Frequently asked questions
Can I use Clean Fire in my gasoline engine?
Clean Fire is designed only for diesel engines. We do not recommend using Clean Fire in gasoline engines. The chemical ingredients used in Clean Fire are designed to stimulate certain diesel fuel characteristics which are not found in gasoline.
Will Clean Fire void my engine manufacturer's waranties?
Clean Fire is safe to use in any diesel engine and will NOT void any manufacturer’s warranties! Clean Fire does not contain any harmful solvents, alcohols or corrosive agents and is filter and electric censor friendly.
Will Clean Fire remove water from my tank?
Yes! Clean Fire is designed to disperse water and separate it evenly throughout the diesel fuel so that the water can safely be converted into steam inside the combustion chamber. Clean Fire's water dispersant is designed to only disperse enough water contamination to meet diesel fuels saturation point, no fear of additive over treatment damage!
I only use Clean Fire in the winter, should I use it during the summer months?
Yes! Clean Fire is an all season stimulant. The fuel supplied today is lacking vital lubricity benefits your engine needs to maintain prolonged cylinder life & factory performance. Running your diesel equipment without a lubricity additive is leading to increased wear on piston rings and cylinder walls which lead to mechanical failures and power loss.
